Overview

The NIFTY 100 is a diversified 100-stock index that represents major economic sectors. NIFTY 100 represents the top 100 firms in the NIFTY 500 by market capitalization. This index is developed to monitor the performance of companies with a significant market capitalization. The NIFTY 100 is a composite index that measures the performance of two indices: the NIFTY 50 and the NIFTY Next 50.

NSE Indices Limited (previously known as India Index Services & Products Limited) operates and controls the NIFTY 100 index (NSE Indices). NSE Indices is a specialised company in India that focuses on indexes as a key product.
